The marked freeride routes on the Kitzsteinhorn are not prepared and not controlled. Before your run: always look for information at the Freeride Info Base at the Alpincenter! Here you can find out which routes are currently open and which are closed. The slopes beyond the routes are open areas, only entered at your own risk and, for which, no responsibility is taken by the lift company!
Location: Alpincenter – central, between both the lifts coming up from the valley (Gletscherjet II and Langweid lift) and the Alpincenter – right at the information centre with panoramic maps of the pistes.
